Travel site, Rough Guides, has revealed that Ireland is amongst twenty countries that have been voted the most beautiful countries in the world.

Up against the likes of Iceland, Croatia, Canada, Switzerland and Italy. Ireland has claimed 18th spot on the list, which is no surprise to us here on the emerald isle.

Those of us who have grown up on Ireland know exactly what this beautiful country has to offer such as gorgeous landscapes, lush greenery, rocky mountaintops, green fields, wanderlust countryside, with Dublin having the most beautiful canals to admire and more!

People may not always appreciate or love our own home, but this is a country that is unique in itself, as there are plenty of things to discover and so many places to visit. If you haven’t ventured outside of Dublin, this may be your moment to do so.
